What you will do in your working day

  • The successful candidate will manage the planning of the day and support the children’s development, learning and play and must be up to date with the EYFS
  • To undertake SENCO duties
  • To maintain and follow all safeguarding policies and procedures at all times and promote positive relationships in the early years’ setting with the children and the team
  • Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
  • To be up-to-date with the children’s individual learning plans and provide updates to parents and carers

The training you will be getting

  • Early years lead practitioner, Level 5 (Higher national diploma)
  • All training will be carried out at the setting, you will be assigned an Assessor who will make regular visits to you at the nursery.

Things to consider

We are looking for a deputy to support the team, lead and be in charge of the preschool, the candidate will need to be confident in being solely in charge in the absence of the manager.
