What you will do in your working day

Our Dagenham Hub are looking for two Driver Guard Security Apprenitces due to increase in workload. 

About the role:

By joining us as a Delivery Driver you will be at the front end of service delivery, collecting and delivering money and valuables. You will be the face of our business and will ensure that we maintain good customer relations and present a professional image. From secure money safes to intelligent smart safes, cash in transit and cash processing, Loomis supports businesses throughout the UK with crucial cash and coin collection and delivery services, along with ATM management and replenishment service.

Duties:

To drive a Company vehicle and deliver a top-quality service to customers.

Maintain vehicle checks and standards and report any defects prior to route commencement.

Ensure that uniform is worn correctly at all times.

Be vigilant both in respect of personal security and the Company and/or customer cash or valuables.

Transport customer cash and coin deliveries and collections in accordance with instruction from line management and in accordance with Company procedure.

Complete all associated documentation either electronically or manually as required.

Comply with CVIT rules and regulations at all times.

Comply with SIA licencing requirements.

Work together with colleagues across the business to provide our customers with the best levels of service and the most secure and technologically advanced cash and payment solutions available.

Responsible for maintaining and complying with Company Health and Safety standards thereby minimising the risk to yourself and any other persons.

Undertake any other duties as and when necessary to ensure the role is carried out to the highest standards of professionalism to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needs.

Ensure all policies, procedures, legislation and regulations are always correctly followed and implemented.

Good written communication skills in English/Welsh slong with the ability to articulate and communicate verbally with customers and colleagues in a professional manner

The training you will be getting

Professional Security Officer (Level2) Apprenticeship Standard.

The apprenticeship is a 12 month remote apprenticeship. You will be required to attend monthly Microsoft Teams tutor led sessions alongside completing projects, an online portfolia and off the job hours within your working hours on site.

On successful completion of your apprenticeship, there may be the option to progress in to management.
