Engineer Apprentice (Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician) Brett Landscaping and Building Products
Apprentices will work with and be supported by our maintenance department, attending day-to-day unplanned breakdown work in and around the factory and planned maintenance including major shut down work. The role will also include parts ordering, dealing with contractors, writing full reports of work undertaken & reporting any issues for follow up.

What you will do in your working day
- Electrical fault finding
- Mechanical fault finding
- Continuous improvement work around the factories
- Report writing
Apprentices will be shadowing a fully qualified engineer, learning safe practices and following up to date health and safety policies within the business, so that tasks can be performed safely as well as in a timely manner. Apprentices will also be set tasks to complete independantly, from planning stage to fully implemented.

Qualification:
- Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard - Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician qualification
- There will also be onsite and OEM training offered
Delivery:
- Apprentices will be required to attend Loughborough College one day per week (term time only)
