What you will do in your working day

-To assist with the building of medical chillers.
-To help with the refurbishment of refrigeration chillers used in the vending industry.
-All training will be given by one of our experienced, qualified engineers.
-All applicants will be supervised at all times.
-Example tasks include; Installation, commissioning, testing, fault diagnostics, rectification of systems, component/refrigerant suitability and selection.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump engineering technician apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required.

Tech cert : This programme includes Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems Diploma Level 2. Award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations: Category I Level 2.Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems Diploma L3.

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Engineering campus, NG17. This attendance is required during term time only.

-You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
-You will experience a blended learning model.
-You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.
-At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.

We specialize in the repair, refurbishment and manufacture of a range of refrigeration units, chillers, carbonators and brewers to a very high standard, for the vending industry. We offer free collection and delivery throughout the UK for 3 or more chillers on a pallet.
