What you will do in your working day

• Register purchase invoices.
• Match purchase invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes.
• Raise cases relating to invoice queries.
• Progress customers for payments and deal with any invoice enquiries.
• Become conversant with all aspects of payroll.
• Become conversant with all aspects of purchase ledger & credit control.
• Provide cover in the absence of your colleagues.

The training you will be getting

Level 2 Financial Apprentice apprenticeship standard to achieve a AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, including Functional Skills if required.

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Derby Road campus, NG18. This attendance is required during term time only.

You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
You will experience a blended learning model.
You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.
At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

After successful completion of the Level 2 apprenticeship we would expect the apprentice to progress on to the level 3 and level 4 AAT Accounting apprenticeships.
