What you will do in your working day
Working safely and following instructions from supervisors.
Access, interpret and use drawings and specifications.
Intall and test basic drainage and ducting.
Measuring, marking, cutting and installing geo membranes to stabilise soil.
Foundation work and paving.
Exposing utilities.
Excavate foundations ready for concrete, and learn how to lay ground floor of houses.
The training you will be getting
Level 2 Groundwork apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills Level 2 English and maths if required. Delivery method and location of training to be confirmed.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
There will be a fulltime position available at the end of this apprenticeship and also the ability to progress into other roles within the business
