What you will do in your working day

  • Experience & learn day-to-day function of BCCR team & responsibilities.
  • Create a highly professional & effective first point of contact for baggage queries & acting as guardian to ensure production is at optimum.
  • Meet defined deadlines through strong time management skills
  • Proactively forcing and leading continuous improvements including the system, processes.
  • Contribute to the positive and proactive team working atmosphere in the BCCR by being a supportive colleague.

The starting salary will be £18,000 and Apprentices in the BCCR program will also receive a 20% shift premium due to their shift work (salary of £21,600). The pay will be reviewed annually as part of the Vanderlande review cycle.

The training you will be getting

Apprentices will be required to attend college one day per week at Uxbridge (These sessions may be online) where they will work towards gaining a Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship.

Full time position in our BCCR (Baggage Combined Control Room) team.

This role is shift based work (365 days including Christmas) Would suit candidate with good communication, administration & IT skills. Previous experience would be desirable of working within a team and to have started to develop their skills in supervising processes and procedures.
