What will the apprentice be doing?
- Be an ambassador of BWitC giving excellent customer service at all times, portraying a professional image throughout each interaction
- Use communication systems to answer calls and emails, take clear messages and deal with enquiries
- Assist with administrative duties and project related monitoring and evaluation systems including ‘Substance Views’ and ‘Salesforce’ in relation to Wanderers Soccer School and Premier League Programme delivery
- Use Outlook to administer and manage pool vehicle usage and other operational requirements
- Carry out spot checks on vehicles, collating and filing mileage sheets
- Stationery Audits
- IT Audits
- Filing both electronically and manually alongside our GDPR policies
- Sort and deal with mail
- Assist the Business & Finance Manager with daily duties
- Collate all press and media related articles associated with the Bolton Wanderers in the Community
- General housekeeping in line with COVID-19 guidelines
- Treat all colleagues as customers ensuring respectful positive outcomes across all communications
- Perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of BWitC
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- As part of your apprenticeship you will complete a Business Administration Level 3 with Bolton College to help you learn and fine-tune the skills required to do the job effectively. While this role is mostly workplace based, you will be required to attend remote college classes one morning/afternoon per week
- Bolton Wanderers in the Community will also provide you time to complete any college work to help you keep a healthy work-life balance
- In addition to this, you will receive plenty of opportunities for extra training and CPD to help you develop your skills even further
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- This apprenticeship will provide you with the perfect preparation for an administrative job whether this be with Bolton Wanderers in the Community or elsewhere
