What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Ensuring all incoming post is recorded and distributed appropriately
  • Assisting with maintaining levels of stock and stationery
  • Goods Received Log and Stock Control Records, ensuring that all records are kept up to date and organised in an easy and accessible manner
  • Taking telephone calls and recording accurate messages, ensuring all communications (e.g. telephone calls, e-mails) are dealt with in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner, and taking appropriate action or referring to appropriate officers as required.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As well as working towards a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification, you will learn job-specific skills from experienced colleagues. You be learning the processes for export & import and UK distribution including customs HMRC documentation.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

If successful, on completing your apprenticeship you will be offered a full-time position working for Logfret in Birmingham. This position will ideally suit someone with an interest in working from an office location in a busy administrative environment.
