What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Dealing with queries on the phone, by email & on social media
  • Greeting visitors at reception
  • Updating computer records and maintaining contact lists
  • Ordering supplies
  • Printing, copying, scanning and filing
  • Data entry and file maintenance
  • Creating new accounts
  • Bank & cash reconciliations
  • Preparation of VAT returns

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will be working towards your AAT Accounts and Finance Assistant level 2 qualification
  • This will involve attending Bolton College for classroom sessions one day a week plus some additional days for sitting the AAT exams

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • The role will initially be for a 12 month period but could evolve as experience grows and internal training will be provided to support the individuals progress onto higher level apprenticeships
