We are recruiting a Customer Service Apprentice to join our team here at Linear Control Systems. The role would suit someone who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing a brilliant opportunity for a motivated candidate with a strong work ethic, who is ambitious, professional, and attentive. You will be answering the phones and responding to general queries.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Answering the phones in a polite, courteous and professional manner, directing the call to the correct person
- Office Maintenance – Internal and External
- Responding to general queries via telephone and email
- Job Scheduling
- Data entry of information into our internal systems
- Handling incoming/outgoing emails
- General Ad-Hoc admin duties i.e. photocopying, filing, faxing, archiving etc.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Great customer service is a critical to the success and reputation of a business. As an apprentice, you will undergo a 12-15 month customer service practitioner apprenticeship training programme at Level 2, during which you will be supported with on and off the job training to assist your development. Throughout, you will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a valuable member of the employer's customer service team.
Your off the job training will be delivered via fortnightly college sessions online with your dedicated tutor. You will also undergo regular reviews at your workplace and will be fully supported throughout the programme.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression onto a level 3 apprenticeship is a possibility for the successful candidate.
