What will the apprentice be doing?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic admin assistant to join
our growing, busy and friendly office. You will be an essential part of
the team, working closely with the rest of the admin, accounts and
management teams. You will need a strong attention to detail and be
highly organised. For the right candidate, this is a fantastic opportunity
to progress within the company, while working towards a level 3
Business Administration qualification.
The role will include some of the following tasks;
- Reception duties (answering telephones, seeing clients, managing emails/text messages etc)
- Carrying out the new client on boarding procedures (completing various forms online/offline etc)
- General Office Duties (filing, photocopying, post and other ad-hoc duties)
- Communicating with clients for accounting records on annual basis or quarterly basis and ensuring submission on a timely basis
- Companies House secretarial procedures
- Anti-money laundering checks
- Using Microsoft Packages, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
- Inputting data onto internal systems with a high level of accuracy
- General office housekeeping
- Assisting all members of the team as and when required
- Ensuring that the Policies of the company are observed, and that
good practice is encouraged, particularly in the areas of Health &
Safety, Equal Opportunities and confidentiality

different tasks as necessitated by the business.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will complete the
following qualifications;
Level 3 Business Administrator Standard Apprenticeship
Level 2 Functional Skills maths and English if not already achieved
This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace and 20% of your
working time will be dedicated towards training and learning new
skills. You will be allocated a tutor who will provide you with
personal support and assessment at pre-arranged times.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Great prospects for progression to a full-time position for the right
candidate.
