Roastery Apprentice GRIND & CO LTD.

You are a key part of the business, working in parallel to the Grind Stores. You will help ensure that all the required orders are fulfilled, and delivery deadlines are met, for both wholesale and retail customers. You will learn to maintain production levels of roasted coffee and keep the roastery space clean and organised.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Your duties will include and not be limited to

-          Acting as a key part of the business

-          Working in parallel to the Grind Stores

-          Help ensure that all the required orders are fulfilled

-          Assist in delivery deadlines are met

-          Dealing with both wholesale and retail customers.

-          You will learn to maintain production levels of roasted coffee

-          Keep the roastery space clean and organised.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

All of your training will be completed within the workplace, You will be working towards the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner.

You will have the opportunity to work towards your Functional Skills in Maths and English if you do not have the GCSEs or equivalent 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Natural Progression route would be the Level 3 Customer Service Specialist

About the employer

Grind Coffee Roasters is entirely responsible for the roasting, production and distribution of all Grind Coffee which is supplied to our 9 London-based restaurants & Café-bars. Lastly, our online coffee retail presence has accumulated a large portion of our workload in supplying coffee orders to thousands of subscribers. Our coffee is sourced from across the world.
