Who you’ll be working for:

Stability IT is modern and progressive company, experiencing a period of rapid expansion and requires additional talent to join their team.

Overview:

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete a IT Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship. 

The main purpose of the role is to provide efficient first line technical support to their growing customer base.

Duties:

You will be responsible for:

  • Log calls on the IT Service Desk.
  • Maintain details of detected software/hardware problems.
  • Provide 1st line technical support: answer support queries either directly or via phone or e-mail.
  • Escalate with external support when necessary.
  • Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary advice and appropriate level of support.
  • Maintain and update internal documentation and database systems in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the support ticketing system
  • Ensure timely feedback and set expectations with clients.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the business.

You will need to possess the following skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service experience
  • The ability to adapt to change
  • The ability to ask clear and precise questions of the customer to ascertain the exact details of the problem.
  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows desktop OS, Windows Server OS.
  • Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the requirements of the role, a driving licence and own car is essential. 

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week:

37.5 hours per week,

Monday - Friday.

Level 4 progression opportunities and a full-time role on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
