Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our Engineering team at Sartorius Albumedix Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for routine maintenance activities and respond to breakdowns within the manufacturing facility.

What you'll do at work
Grow with us– Your Responsibilities
§ Undertake day to day planned and demand maintenance activities to keep the manufacturing facility running to defined schedules
§ You will maintain, repair, install a range of process and utility equipment including steam systems, compressed air systems, chilled water systems, pressure vessels, centrifugal and rotary lobe pumps, agitators
§ Supporting small engineering projects and larger capital investment projects whilst adhering to cGMP requirements
§ Use computer-based engineering maintenance management system to organise, prioritise and record engineering works
§ Schedule, manage and work with external contractors, technical consultants and suppliers
§ Writing and reviewing routine documentation such as SOP’s, risk assessments, method statements and change requests
§ Contribute to Opex projects reducing budgetary spend
§ Working with the department to ensure the facility is always in an audit ready state including general housekeeping of engineering workshops
§ Ensuring documents are kept up to date and reflect validates status ie.: SOP’s, P&ID’s, calibration certificates, maintenance records, equipment history files
§ Ensuring safe working environment, report near misses, and follow cGMP at all times
§ Provide non– routine support to other engineering disciplines as required
§ Liaise with engineering and other departments in a timely manner

- Training will be delivered one day per week, term time, and is based at The Ruddington campus and facilities are in creation to enrich the student experience, developing them with the necessary skills using industry recognised equipment to ensure the apprentice receives training closely matched to the employer’s and Industry
