This is a great opportunity to gain practical skills in all aspects of warehouse operations, playing a role in ensuring trade orders are managed efficiently and accurately.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Verify assets entering the warehouse against asset lists/collection notes, notifying any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the safe unloading of vehicles, following company health and safety guidelines.
- Picking & Packing of goods to be dispatched
- Checking stock levels
- Receive parcel/van deliveries.
- Update stock system as required.
- Ensure accurate selection of sold items for dispatch
- Complete orders and all associated administration within specified timescales.
- Ensure all company procedures are followed in relation to recycling equipment.

- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.

Training schedule
In-house training- No college day release required.
Working towards a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 apprenticeship, including any required Functional Skills.
Requirements
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 3-4)
- Maths (grade 3-4)
