No Limitz, based in Bedford, are looking for a friendly apprentice to join their team. You will be working within a busy retail store, providing advice and recommendations on products within store.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
No Limitz, based in Bedford, is a local independent specialist in sports equipment, teamwear, schoolwear, printing, embroidery, and engraving.
Established in 2001, this family business has grown steadily and continues to expand its range, quality, and services. From running gait analysis to helping choose the perfect cricket bat, creating professional uniforms, or advising on end-of-season trophies, the No Limitz team is always ready to support their customers.
As an apprentice with No Limitz, you will play an important role in supporting students, schools, and local customers to ensure they receive the products and service they need. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking orders and dealing with customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Assisting with stock management and in-store displays to ensure items are readily available and to support business growth through maximising sales.
- Offering in-store gait analysis and providing advice to help customers choose the right running shoes.
- Working as part of a team, contributing ideas, and helping to develop solutions to retain and grow the customer base.

What you'll learn
Course contents
- Use a range of questioning skills, including listening and responding in a way that builds rapport, determines customer needs and expectations and achieves positive engagement and delivery.
- Depending on your job role and work environment: Use appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication skills, along with summarising language during face-to-face communications; and/or
- Depending on your job role and work environment: Use appropriate communication skills, along with reinforcement techniques (to confirm understanding) during non-facing customer interactions.
- Depending on your job role and work environment: Use an appropriate ‘tone of voice’ in all communications, including written and digital, that reflect the organisation’s brand.
- Provide clear explanations and offer options in order to help customers make choices that are mutually beneficial to both the customer and your organisation.
- Be able to organise yourself, prioritise your own workload/activity and work to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate patience and calmness.
- Show you understand the customer’s point of view.
- Use appropriate sign-posting or resolution to meet your customers needs and manage expectations.
- Maintain informative communication during service recovery.

Desirable qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- Maths (grade 4)
- English (grade 4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
