Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Work directly with clients to gather and document business requirements, identify gaps, and design solutions using Dynamics D365 CE
- Configure Dynamics D365 CE environments to align with business needs, ensuring compliance, best practice and usability
- Developing, documenting, and executing test plans to assess the integrity and accuracy of business processes, module configurations, and any modifications, enhancements, customisations, or patches
- Create functional design documents, test cases, and end-user training materials to support a full project lifecycle
- Conduct system and user acceptance testing, ensuring deliverables meet agreed specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with developers to provide detailed business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
- Deliver engaging user training sessions and provide ongoing support where needed post go-live
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft CE, Power Platform, and industry best practices
- Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from operational users to executive sponsors

Other requirements
• You have strong hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solutions. • You’re confident working through the full software development lifecycle, using Agile or Waterfall methodologies. • You’re comfortable configuring D365 CE, creating business rules, process flows, and performing UI customisation. • You’re an excellent communicator, capable of working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. • You’re proactive, adaptable, and motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team, at home, or when needed, on site with customers. • Level 3 in Business Admin, Data, Project Management or ICT.
