Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
You will gain hands-on experience in a range of engineering disciplines, working alongside our skilled team to produce precision components. Training will include:
- Milling, turning, and grinding operations
- Assembly and fitting techniques
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Using precision measurement tools
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Training schedule
You will work towards the Level 2 Engineering Operative qualification with Bradford College, with the possibility of progressing to Level 3 Engineering Technician. If required, Functional Skills in English and maths will also be provided. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be mentored by experienced engineers and supported in developing your skills and confidence.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4/C)
- Maths (grade 4/C)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
