Summary
This role is an excellent opportunity to train and work as a Customer Service Advisor. We are looking for an enthusiastic person looking to make Customer Service their career pathway of choice. You’ll work alongside experienced staff whilst completing your 13-month, level 2 apprenticeship with an award-winning training provider.

Due to the nature of the business, we operate over 5 days, flexibility is a key requirement, as you will be required to work up until 5:00pm, including swapping a weekday to an occasional Saturday work until 2:00pm.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
We are looking for an enthusiastic person looking to make Customer Service their career pathway of choice.
You will learn how the function plays an essential part of Bidfood depots by providing support and communicating to both external and internal customers.
Resolving queries to a satisfactory resolution is key to enhancing their experience of Bidfood.
Ensuring the ongoing support to hundreds of customers including some big brand names.
Alongside your role, you will be working towards achieving your Level 2 apprenticeship.
Ability to use MS Word, Excel & Outlook.

- Depending on your job role and work environment: Use an appropriate ‘tone of voice’ in all communications, including written and digital, that reflect the organisation’s brand.
- Provide clear explanations and offer options in order to help customers make choices that are mutually beneficial to both the customer and your organisation.
- Be able to organise yourself, prioritise your own workload/activity and work to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate patience and calmness.
- Show you understand the customer’s point of view.
- Use appropriate sign-posting or resolution to meet your customers needs and manage expectations.
- Maintain informative communication during service recovery.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade C or 4 and above)
- Maths (grade C or 4 and above)
