Dry Wall Steel Sections Limited have a great opportunity available for an apprentice to join their well-established team as a Machine Operator / Shop Floor apprentice. You will be operating machinery.

Wage

£14,526.20 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Monday - Thursday, 7.00am - 3.30pm (8 hours per day) and Friday, 7.00am - 12.00pm (5 hours)

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Role focuses on keeping the shopfloor organised, clean, and tidy, as directed by Factory Supervisor and other members of the team.

Will receive on the job training in:

  • Operating rolling mills
  • Operating sheet metal machinery
  • Assembling pre-panelised steel frames ready for despatch
    loading and unloading vehicles
  • Forklift driving
