You will play a crucial role within the production unit, ensuring that products meet our high-quality standards. The role will involve the assembly, maintenance and repair of our forklift trucks.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Assemble mechanical components for forklifts
- Service/repairs to hydraulics systems
- Service/repairs to electrical systems
- Service/repairs to mechanical aspects
- Conduct in-line inspections during the assembly process
- Testing and recording results

- Training will take place at our Depot in Great Bridge
- Block release to Stephenson College, Coalville for a two-week period 4 times a year
Requirements
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4 or above)
- Maths (grade 4 or above)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
Travel to Great Bridge DY4. location is near main public transport routes via, train, trams and bus. Overnight stays required when on Block release to Stephenson College, Coalville. Some elements of the job are Physical.
