Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Welding and building of skips and waste containers, performing Mig welding on steel assemblies to a high standard.
- Ensure finished products conform to technical drawings and dimensional specifications.
- Ensure welds are clean, strong, and meet quality requirements.
- Verify correct placement of brackets, holes, and drain points for galvanising and assembly.
