Wage

£7,852 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

You will be paid £7.55 per hour. Your annual wage will depend on your working part time or full time. This will increase after successfully completing your probation period.

Exact work hours will be agreed but will be Monday to Friday, between 12 PM and 8.30 PM, with 30 minutes or 1-hour unpaid breaks. Weekend work may occur but will be arranged in advance. Full time is 30 hours a week. Part time is 20 hours a week.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

  • Already possess GCSEs at grade 9-6 in maths, English, and Science
  • Enrol in the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Training Programme

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • Maths (grade 6)
  • Sciences (grade 6)
