As a key player in our operations team, you’ll not only master the basics of inventory and stock control but also gain first-hand experience with Amazon-fulfilled orders, order processing software, and eCommerce workflows.

As our Apprentice eCommerce Logistics Operative, you’ll get hands-on experience in every part of our warehouse operation — supporting the day-to-day processes that keep our online orders flowing.

Your role will cover:

  • Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
  • Booking stock into our internal system accurately
  • Storing and organising stock in line with safety protocols
  • Picking, packing, labelling, and dispatching customer orders
  • Gaining insight into Amazon FBA and FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) order handling and best practices
  • Supporting regular stock checks and inventory accuracy
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (training provided)
  • Communicating with other departments to help resolve order or stock issues
  • Maintaining a clean, well-structured and efficient workspace

Training schedule

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

You’ll receive structured training on and off the job, provided by Davidson Training UK Ltd, with all sessions delivered in the workplace using a blended learning approach (MS Teams, e-portfolios, and in-person coaching).

You’ll work towards:

  • Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship
  • Functional Skills in maths & English (if needed)
  • Certification in health & safety, stock handling, and equipment use
  • Real-world understanding of logistics, warehousing, and eCommerce fulfilment
  • Fork lift truck certification

The apprenticeship is delivered through a mixture of workplace training, MS Teams with an eportfolio that has access to resources for study and activities to ensure and evaluate knowledge, skills, and behaviours (a blended learning approach)

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4-9 (A* - C))
  • Maths (grade 4-9 (A* - C))

Ideal traits and qualifications: • A keen interest in eCommerce, logistics, or supply chain • Strong communication and teamwork abilities • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths (Grade 4-9 desirable) • Confident using computers and learning new digital tools
