Summary

We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and flexible apprentice teaching assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, supporting children across Key Stage 2 (Junior School). The role will involve providing general support in class and working towards a level 3 TA qualification on the City of Bristol College apprentice programme.

Wage

£13,741 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

All applicants must have a grade 4 in English and Maths at GCSE (or equivalent).

The new apprentice TA will:

· be patient and have an unconditionally positive approach to children with distressed behaviours

  • Be fun but firm with a clear and consistent approach with high expectations of learning and behaviour
  • Be a team player with good communication skills, willing to be flexible and work collaboratively with the team

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

Maths and English (grade 4+)
