Summary

Great opportunity to be part of our team, you will proactively engage with training and will build the skills and knowledge to enable you to become a qualified LPG Engineer, specialising in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and testing of LPG vessels. Working with a team of Engineers, and provided with a mentor who will support you.

£18,000 a year

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Assisting engineers in the installation, exchanging and uplift of LPG vessels
  • Assisting with ten-year testing of LPG vessels
  • Assisting in annual visual inspections of LPG vessels
  • Assisting in emergency call outs
  • Loading and unloading of LPG vessels
  • Preparation of LPG vessels and stock level management
  • Completing service works on LPG installations

Where you'll work

5 positions available, 1 at each location- Apprentices will need to be local enough to travel to post codes under each location so a driving licence is essential. Guildford: GU, RH and KT Swindon / Gloucester: SN, BA, GL and HR Stanlow: CH and L York: YO and LS Cumbria: CA and LA

Training

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

English and Maths (grade 4 or above)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
