Summary
This role is to work as an assembly, install and support engineer on automated robotic palletising systems. The role includes electrical and mechanical assembly both at Granta and out on site, service and support visits to customers sites. It also has the opportunity to progress into software support and commissioning if you pick up well.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Carry out full system install which can include mechanical and electrical competence and potentially software
- Carry out assembly inc. panel build mechanical system build
- Carry out necessary software additions
- Carry out system service visits
- Carry out remote support calls and on-site support where required
- Report progress and issues to the PM for accurate customer communications

- You would learn a lot of skillsets working alongside our team, electrical, mechanical and potentially software if this is an area you pick up well
- There is a huge variety of work in our robotic palletiser systems and AMRs
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade C/4)
- Maths (grade C/4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
Will involve visiting customers sites and factories across the UK and staying out nights in hotels for installation work. This is not all the time just part of the time the rest of the time will be in the workshop at Granta Automation, Linton Cambridge.
