Monday to Friday - 37.5hrs. Flexible working hours; you must be in between 7am-9am, earliest leaving time is 3:30pm. If you make up additional time in the week, manufacturing can leave at 1pm on a Friday.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department.
  • Support the preparation, testing, and maintenance of veterinary imaging systems (e.g., MRI, CT).
  • Help manage equipment logistics and documentation.
  • Shadow engineers or specialists during system installations, maintenance visits, and remote diagnostics.
  • Learn and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions and complete coursework as required by the apprenticeship framework.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry or reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers when needed.
