Summary
Airtech Nonwovens is based in Blackburn and manufactures nonwoven materials. As an apprentice you will learn and obtain experience in the fundamentals of both mechanical and electrical engineering, and you will have the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge, skills and behaviours you have acquired so far.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

- Learning to read electrical drawings/diagrams
- Systematically identifying and resolving problems in our equipment, systems and processes
- Prepare work areas
- Installing wiring and components
- Testing electrical systems
- Ensure health and safety compliance
- Maintain a safe working environment
- To conduct general housekeeping
