Summary
Join ABP as an apprentice and kickstart your career in engineering with hands-on experience in either mechanical or electrical/electronic disciplines. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the design, manufacture and testing of advanced engineering solutions.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Under expert guidance, you’ll develop your skills through a mix of college learning and practical work, including:
- Machining
- Hand Fitting
- PCB assembly, wiring looms and harness manufacture
- Quality control and inspection
- Building and assembling systems and components
As you develop your skills and knowledge, you will be given more complicated tasks to complete on your own.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
Maths & English (grade 4 or above)BTEC or equivalent in:
