What you'll do at work

We’re recruiting for a Level 3 Content Creator Apprentice to join our Marketing and Communications Team. Over the course of 12 months, you’ll gain essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours to pass your End Point Assessment and excel in a career in digital communications.

You Will Learn To:
- Identify commercial drivers for clients
- Understand the importance of brand awareness
- Adapt writing styles based on campaign types
- Use tone of voice appropriately
- Apply accurate grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Craft persuasive and effective copy
- Interpret client/customer briefs
- Generate ideas and campaign concepts
- Source and manage media assets

Key Responsibilities
- Create content tailored to specific platforms across BWitC, WSitC and BWDA
- Plan, film, and edit short-form video content
- Design visuals for social media and marketing campaigns
- Write engaging copy for news articles, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Capture and edit photography for use across communication channels
- Support creative content planning and brainstorming
- Represent BWitC at events and in the community as an ambassador for our work
- Uphold the values and behaviours of BWitC and BWFC in all professional activities

Typical Day-to-Day Tasks
- Filming and editing video clips for social media
- Designing and posting graphics for campaigns
- Drafting copy for news stories, e-newsletters, and promotional materials
- Photographing events and initiatives
- Attending team planning sessions and supporting on live content

Your training plan

Training for this apprenticeship will be delivered by Education Wise.

The course will follow a structured 12-month programme, which includes:

- Initial induction and onboarding
- A mix of monthly classroom-based sessions, delivered either virtually or in person
- Regular progress reviews between the apprentice, employer and training provider
- End Point Assessment preparation during the final stage of the apprenticeship
- Throughout the programme, the apprentice will receive tailored support and guidance to ensure successful completion and career progression in digital content creation.

Training for this apprenticeship will be delivered by Educationwise, an Ofsted Outstanding training provider who have recently been nominated for the Quality Awards and Training Provider of the Year.

The course will follow a structured 12-month remote programme, which includes:

- Online induction and onboarding
- Monthly virtual classroom sessions.
- Ongoing support through remote 1:1 coaching and mentoring
- Regular progress reviews involving the apprentice, employer and training provider
- End Point Assessment preparation during the final stage of the programme

This flexible, remote approach ensures the apprentice can effectively balance work responsibilities with training and development.

Essential qualifications

Other in:

Driving license with access to a suitable vehicle (grade Any)

Desirable qualifications

GCSE in:

After this apprenticeship

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a permanent role within the Marketing and Communications Team or a related creative/media position within the organisation or sector. Further training and development will be supported.
