Summary

Our Apprentice Teaching Assistant will support teachers and pupils in lessons as an integral part of the school support team. This includes creating a safe, enjoyable learning environment for all pupils supporting them with classroom activities. Organising/leading play activities, classroom displays, supporting on trips/out of school activities.

Wage

£11,778 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

  • Encourage safe use of technology by learners.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).
  • Identify and respond to pastoral and academic behaviours in learners.
  • Provide feedback to learners.

Training is delivered in face to face sessions, day and time to be confirmed, as well as one to ones, workshops.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4, C or above)
  • Maths (grade 4, C or above)

About this company

St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, a Catholic Voluntary Academy is for children between the ages of 3 to 11 years.
