Summary
Due to the success and growth of the business Barton Storage Systems Ltd is now looking to create the specific apprentice role of Quality Control Inspector. The Apprentice Quality Control Inspector will directly support the Warehouse Management Team to ensure the customer experience is maintained to the highest possible standard.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Have an excellent attention to detail ensuring items and work is completed with minimal errors
- Items ready for despatch are checked to ensure they are correct and in suitable condition for transit, whilst also ensuring labels are printed and addressed correctly
- Checking of all goods in to ensure they are correct, serviceable and match paperwork
- Identify any discrepancies and or damages and report accordingly
- You must adhere to all aspects of health and safety and company guidelines
- Work to company process and instruction to ensure requirements are followed
- Using in house computer system to log workflow processes
- Attention to detail is paramount as you will be required to check deliveries and orders to ensure they are correctly receipted and accurate prior to dispatch
- Document and record all goods in/out providing evidence of compliance
