Summary

Due to our expanding team, we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join us at our business in Nottingham as a Mechanical Engineer Apprentice. During the apprenticeship your aim will be to work towards being fully competent in maximising the efficiency of the machinery, including maintenance, testing and installation.

Wage

£15,704 to £25,396.80, depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

  • Assist with mechanical installations for the sludge process including maintenance of centrifuge, drum thickener & bell press maintenance
  • Assist with regular testing and maintenance of machinery
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Resolve problems in a timely manner

  • Embedded qualification to ensure all knowledge is provided (Diploma in Engineering Technology)
  • Training will be delivered one day per week, term time, and is based at The Highfield site and facilities are in creation to enrich the student experience, developing them with the necessary skills using industry recognised equipment to ensure the apprentice receives training closely matched to the employer’s and Industry

GCSE or equivalent in:
