What you'll do at work
Our services range from drafting Terms & Conditions and verifying winners to building secure digital entry platforms and fulfilling prizes globally. We are now seeking a talented and curious individual to join our busy Legal team. This role provides a responsive and crucial service to both internal teams and external clients, offering exposure to major international campaigns. Your work will appear on millions of cereal boxes, tens of millions of soft drink cans, and across the aisles of major supermarkets—delivering real-world impact you can see every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling of client briefs, qualifying information / highlighting any gaps in information, and considering any compliance issues before proceeding.
- Drafting or reviewing promotional Terms & Conditions and marketing communications tailoring them to the requirements of the promotional mechanic, the country and the client.
- Supporting others in the Legal Team in assessing the suitability of a particular promotion to be run in any number of cusingries our own extensive knowledge and our global network of legal experts.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reviewing or drafting of non-disclosure agreements, waivers, privacy policies, cookie policies and consent documentation, policies and procedures, data processing agreements, framework agreements, terms of service and statement of works to identify and manage business risks.
- Collaborating with others in the legal team as well as colleagues in the Sales and Operations teams to provide a seamless client experience.
- Conducting legal research and maintaining the company knowledge bank on assigned subject matters and ultimately becoming a subject matter expert in all areas of promotional compliance.
- Supporting on review, creation & delivery of our ’signature’ promotional compliance training sessions both internally and to clients and working with the Marketing team or sales team on interesting legal content.
- Actioning and maintaining own timesheets and various trackers and reporting documents, as well as project related administration to a high standard and within business requirements.

- undertake activities to ensure a clear picture of a stakeholder’s needs and risks throughout legal transactions.
- assess risks and benefits to the stakeholder of different options and making recommendations to senior team members to ensure that they work in the stakeholders’ best interests.

Your training plan
As a Paralegal Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Paralegal Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. Additional learning within the apprenticeship will enable you to be awarded a Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Services which can afford you exemptions from the first two years of the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship.
Your Level 4 apprenticeship shall be delivered by a blend of online and face-to-face training from and on-the-job learning.

Essential qualifications
A Level in:
Three A-levels equivalent to 96 UCAS points (grade (A*-C/9-4))Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
