Summary

Daily duties will consist of loading tools and materials to workplace, working as a team with the tasks that occur for specific job, remove rubbish and keep a clean and safe workplace. You will also learn how a good flat roofing installation is achieved from start to finish, considering all aspects of the job and including health and safety.

Wage

£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

  • Set up tools and materials
  • Remove old roof coverings
  • Transport old roof materials to skip with wheelbarrow
  • Empty to skip
  • Clean work area
  • Help reinstall new roof coverings
  • Consider Health and safety at all times

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4-9 (A*-C))
  • maths (grade 4-9 (A*-C))
