After 12-months you will have the opportunity to be hired directly by your client to continue your career journey. They will hire you on a 4-day working week, but retain your salary, in effect offering you a 20% pay rise.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Work directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver desktop hardware installation services.
- Manage the office connectivity to ensure all physical work environments are set up correctly and have been tested.
- Be involved with with the design of a new technology hardware rollout plan.
- Support the business to troubleshoot IT hardware issues and ensure they are fixed quickly.

Your training plan
- Training will be 1-day per week, dedicated to driving your skill and career growth in a wider Technology application to include process mapping, requirements gathering, data analysis, and project management.
- You will complete training remotely, though there will be an opportunity to attend from an office if preferred.
- You will have ongoing dedicated support and mentorship throughout.

- You will be employed by Hays, but you will be working with a market leading Technology business 4-days per week, with the other day available for training.
- Training will be a mix of classroom based learning, simulated work experiences, and self-paced learning.
- You will be given expert training into Business Analyst skillsets, contextualised to being an IT Technician.
- Classroom based training will be hands-on and practical in a collaborative workshop fashion.
- Work simulations will allow you to embed your knowledge in a safe training environment to practice and learn before using it in your day to day role.
- Self-paced learning will give you set playlists of best-in-class e-learning modules to gain the training you need, when you need it.
