Summary

Under the supervision of your Leading Technician, you will work to a production schedule operating in a busy assembly environment on a variety of processes. You will closely follow Engineering instructions to assemble, test and release to internal Quality Control, intricate and technical electronic equipment.

Wage

£23,000 a year

Pay rising to £24,000 after 12 month trial period and £25,000 after 24 month review

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Follow detailed engineering instructions to assemble, test, and prepare products for quality inspection
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and soldering irons (training provided)
  • Work across a variety of processes and batch sizes, depending on the product
  • Keep accurate records using our computer systems
  • Meet production and quality targets in a clean, supportive work environment
