Summary
Dunlop Aircraft Tyres is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team. As an apprentice, you will be responsible for designing, improving, and optimising manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure standards are met.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Daily tasks include:
- Assist with process checks and data collection
- Update process documentation and SOP's
- Support production teams with troubleshooting
- Monitor quality and safety on the shop floor
Weekly tasks:
- Analyse process data for trends and improvements
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas
- Help implement process changes
- Participate in training and shadowing experienced engineers
Other Tasks:
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the manufacturing operations
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure processes meet quality and safety standards

Your training plan
This is a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support apprenticeship, delivered over a 30 month period.
The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, for the first 7 months.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
