Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. This role offers hands-on experience in cost management, contract administration, and project delivery, while studying towards a recognised qualification in quantity surveying or construction management.

What you'll do at work
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tenders
- Support in monitoring project expenditure and financial performance
- Help manage subcontractor accounts and valuations
- Contribute to the preparation of interim and final client applications
- Assist with the review and negotiation of contracts
- Attend site visits and progress meetings
- Learn to interpret drawings and technical specifications
- Undertake relevant coursework and training modules

- Construction Technology: Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects
- Contracts: Be able to apply different types of contracts to different situations.
- Procurement: Assist in the selection of and negotiation with specialist contractors for a construction project.
- Cost control: Assist in the measurement and costing of construction works during a project.
- Financial reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, cash flow and cost forecasts for a construction project.
- Administration: Assist in the collection, collation and storage of relevant data and its analysis.
