Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • We have an apprentice position available working with our children aged 9 months to school age.
  • All our apprentices study and are employed on 23-month contracts. You will have the opportunity to work in two different age groups during your studies.
  • If you are passionate about providing our nursery and preschool children with an exciting, safe, secure and fun environment that offers adventure and friendship to help them begin a life-long love of learning – we want to hear from you!
  • We promise our parents/carers that their child will be a valued member of our community, that their voice will be heard, and that we will always strive to do our best for them, and you will be essential in creating these professional bonds.
  • You will see the potential in all the children in our care and will work closely with our team to create interesting opportunities for each child to develop, shine and grow.

Whilst some experience in a childcare setting would be preferable, we are interested to hear from you if you are looking to begin your career in early years. The post is listed as full time, but we are committed to supporting your studies and would support up to 6 hours a week as dedicated study.
