Summary
The production team work together to ensure that client orders are completed on time, allowing the QC department sufficient time to verify colour accuracy for clients. Team members help produce paint colours by using tinting machines to mix pigments with base paints. They also make samples for the QC team and assist the warehouse team as needed.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Ensure orders are manufactured on schedule, allowing for QC (Quality Control) time
- Ensure orders are kept up to date on FOCUS & Clickup
- Ensure QC adjustments are completed on schedule
- Ensure goods used for manufacturing are taken/put away in the correct locations
- Ensure utilisation/performance metrics are met daily
- Ensure reporting of stock discrepancies
- Support colleagues in the Operations dept with their tasks
- Keep the work area organised and tidy - Pitstop tasks
- Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in the correct location
