Summary

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

Wage

£12,170.60 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

This role is term time only and therefore the advertised salary will be pro-rata based on the term-time only nature of this role.

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting a rich and engaging curriculum across the KS1 & KS2 in partnership with the teaching team.
  • Encouraging curiosity and independence in children through high-quality learning experiences.
  • Building positive relationships with children, staff, and families to create a nurturing environment.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of practice and provision in our education setting.

  • Use up to date technology safely, to support learning.
  • Encourage safe use of technology by learners.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).
  • Identify and respond to pastoral and academic behaviours in learners.
  • Provide feedback to learners.
