What you'll do at work

The Role:

Working with the Health & Wellbeing operations team who are responsible for ensuring referred clients (employees of our B2B clients) receive fast, effective treatment to help with their injury rehabilitation/condition management for mental and physical health cases.

You will have the chance to influence this process by being the first point of contact for our clients and assisting in arranging, managing and monitoring their treatment to an effective conclusion.

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Source and migrate data from already identified different sources.
  • Collect, format and save datasets.
  • Summarise and explain gathered data.
  • Blend data sets from multiple sources and present in format appropriate to the task.
  • Manipulate and link different data sets as required.
  • Use tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Apply basic statistical methods and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Apply cross checking techniques for identifying faults and data results for data project requirements.
  • Audit data results.
  • Demonstrate the different ways of communicating meaning from data in line with audience requirements.
  • Produce clear and consistent technical documentation using standard organisational templates.
  • Store, manage and distribute in compliance with data security standards and legislation.
  • Explain data and results to different audiences in a way that aids understanding.
  • Review own development needs.
  • Keep up to date with developments in technologies, trends and innovation using a range of sources.
  • Clean data i.e. remove duplicates, typos, duplicate entries, out of date data, parse data (e.g. format telephone numbers according to a national standard) and test and assess confidence in the data and its integrity.
  • Operate as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Prioritise within the context of a project.

Your training plan

Data Technician: Equal to Level 3 (A level).

Your training plan:

  • All training will be delivered online by Wise Origin, offering flexible, expert-led instruction with interactive sessions and digital resources. This ensures apprentices can develop their skills while balancing work commitments
  • We deliver further education and provide employment opportunities through our Apprenticeship Programmes and other funded provisions
  • We specialise in Digital, IT & Data Apprenticeships and our aim is to help businesses and individuals make wise decisions for better futures
  • Throughout the program, you will receive dedicated support from your tutor to ensure your success
  • Upon completing your apprenticeship, you will be awarded the Level 3 Data Technician

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

Maths & English (grade 4-9)

Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements

Hybrid working – 9am - 5pm but flexible London, Reading & & Sutton areas preferably close to travel for social gatherings and team days. First 2 weeks on site in London, meet the team and sessions with every dept. Working in a small team of 4 – reporting to Head of Ops.
