This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a marketing apprentice. You'll contribute to the protection of people’s lives by applying your digital marketing skills to support the Marketing Team and provide additional resource to our Graphic Designer. You'll be involved in a wide range of marketing, encompassing the full marketing mix.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Create a social media content calendar, to be signed off by the Head of Marketing, capturing the wide range of activities and products which Pennine Healthcare undertake
- Schedule social media posts across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn – with a variety of different content, focusing on Pennine’s Elevator Pitch
- Launch a TikTok channel and capture appropriate content to sell our “UK Manufacturing” capabilities
- Provide real time responses to questions/queries via social channels
- Report on the growth of our social media channels, with an emphasis on data surrounding engagement and visibility
- Capture photography and video content on a regular basis, to help grow our image library
- Be in charge of the organisation of some of our smaller events, ensuring that deadlines are met and all stakeholders are kept up to date
- Support the wider business in the development and provision of marketing information to support their roles
- Work on basic label design and updates
- Help support the Internal Comms and Events – working on posters, emails and more
- Proofread creative copy and obtain approval of marketing materials
- Conduct market, and competitor research, and analyse trends and use the findings to influence future campaigns – with a real focus on digital technology

- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
- Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
- Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
- Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
- Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
- Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Your training plan
- In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 3 Multi Channel Marketer qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures
- Our training is all completed remotely via teams with a development coach, who will be available for support
- You receive 20% off the job training during this apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
English and maths (grade C/4 or above)Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.

28 days holidays (including bank holidays), rising to 33 after 1 year service, employee owned trust, various charity and celebration events, Pension, shut down between Christmas and New Year.
