About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial planning sector while working towards nationally recognised qualifications. You’ll be an important part of our team—supporting advisers and helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Client Services Administrator Apprentice, you’ll:

  • Support advisers with day-to-day client administration
  • Prepare and process client documents and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate client records and back-office systems
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and post professionally and promptly
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and diary management
  • Liaise with providers to obtain quotes and valuations
  • Follow compliance procedures and maintain confidentiality
  • Learn about financial products, services, and industry regulations

  • Quality service delivery: Consistently develops and delivers excellent service to customers, colleagues & advisers, supporting the products / services provided and adhering to ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ principles at all times
  • Customer communication & relationships: Develops effective relationships with customers & key contacts, handling & resolving issues through effective verbal/written/IT skills.
  • Team working & collaboration: Understands role within team & impact on others. Consistently endeavours to support colleagues & collaborate to achieve results
  • Planning & prioritising: Consistently adheres to systems & processes using proficient IT skills, including risk, regulatory and governance requirements

Your training plan

The Financial Services Administrator apprenticeship is ideal for learners beginning an entry level role in the financial sector.

As an entry level role, this apprenticeship provides the foundation knowledge, skills and experience for progression along a number of career paths. 

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • A broad understanding of the financial services sector
  • An understanding of the role of the appropriate regulatory bodies
  • The importance of relationship building with clients and colleagues
  • Understanding of processes and procedures relevant to the role
  • How to develop commercial awareness
  • Building skills and capabilities within an organisation

Professional Qualifications:

·        R01 - awarded by The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)

Completion of R01 will provide a solid foundation for the learner and can lead on to progression to study in other areas

To help prepare the apprentice for the professional qualification, Apprentices are provided with Simply Academy’s qualification resource package, alongside a structured study plan supported by a series of live revision sessions with our qualified tutors.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

5 passes in total (including English & maths) (grade 4/C or above)

A Level in:

2 subjects (grade D or above)

The office is set on a business park on the edge of Stafford with easy access to bus routes via A34 to Stafford and stone, and to the M6 J14.
