We are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentices in partnership with Priory Apprenticeships. Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and resources
- Support pupils with learning activities, both individually and in groups
- Support with classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide extra support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
- Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and visits
- Assist with administrative tasks such as marking, record-keeping, and organising supplies

- Use up to date technology safely, to support learning.
- Encourage safe use of technology by learners.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).
- Identify and respond to pastoral and academic behaviours in learners.
- Provide feedback to learners.

- Priory Apprenticeships are a leading provider of apprenticeships designed specifically for education
- During your apprenticeship, you will work closely with our Occupational Expert to gains the skills, knowledge and behaviour you need to be a successful and qualified learning Support Assistant
- The level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship is an 18-month programme (plus 3-point EPA) delivered through practical, on-the-job training, workshops and mentoring
- Upon completion of the course you will have achieved the Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
