Calibration of Electrical/Electronic Test and Measuring Equipment. Interest/Experience in Electronics would be a distinct advantage. Duties include: Calibration of test instruments ranging from Multimeters, Oscilloscope, Resistance Boxes, Multifunction Testers to Current Injection Set. Also repair/fault-finding of Same types of equipment.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Perform calibration of a wide range of test instruments, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, resistance boxes, multifunction testers, and current injection sets.
- Conduct fault-finding and basic repair work on the same types of equipment.
- Operate within a computerised calibration management system – computer literacy is essential.
- Use electronic test equipment and soldering tools with precision and care.
