Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The successful candidate will be carrying out daily duties such as:
- Riding several different horses each day
- Mucking out
- Feeding
- Providing water
- Grooming the horses at evening stables

Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
Maths and English (grade 4 or above)Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.

About this company
Roger Teal Racing started in 2007 in Epsom Surrey, we moved to Berkshire in December 2015 each year the business has grown in numbers of horses along with the quality of horse in our care. We have trained 2 group 1 winners numerous group placed horses and listed race winners we pride ourselves on giving the horses the very best of care and attention within a happy environment.

For the right candidate there will be plenty of opportunities to gain experience and move into a more senior role, there may also be an opportunity to travel.
